My grill is very old and has never been cleaned, should I throw it away?

Tha'ts certainly your choice, but I would suggest having it cleaned first and you might find its not as bad as you thought.  Everyone thinks their grill is the worst we’ve ever seen and in some cases they are right, but in all cases they have been surprised with the results of the cleaning. I have never had a customer tell me they wish they had thrown it out instead of having me clean it.  A cleaning certainly costs less than buying a new grill and new grills never fit in the same hole as the last one making you hire a contractor to retro-fit your counters.

If we come to your house to clean your grill and determine that it is better to save your money and buy a new grill, we will tell you so.   In this case, there will be no charge for the service call.  Just remember us in the future when you are ready to clean your new grill.

Do you clean commercial/restaurant grills too?

We clean and restore residential-style gas and charcoal grills, smokers and outdoor kitchens. We can can also clean commercial grills, ovens too.

At this point, I’m not sure whether my grill can be cleaned or if I should replace it. Can Clean My Grill consult  with me on this?

Yes. Clean My Grill can set an appointment, come out to you home and inspect your grill. If it can be cleaned, we will clean it on the spot. If it is determined that you are in need of a new grill, Clena My Grill can help you with that as well.

A professional grill cleaning can safely and effectively remove traces of grease, fat and burnt on carbon deposits sterilizing all cooking surfaces thus eliminating carcinogens and bacteria. By maintaining and cleaning your grill you won’t need to have it repaired as often or replaced.   Generally a professional can clean your grill in fraction of the time with better results than doing it yourself.

Do you do the cleaning at my house or take my grill away to your shop to clean it?

We are a mobile bbq grill cleaner. So we come to your house and clean on site. We clean up after ourselves and never leave behind any garbage.

What if I'm not happy with your service?

If for whatever reason you are not completely satisfied with our bbq grill cleaning service, we will come back and fix the problem or even re-clean your BBQ grill or outdoor kitchen.  Your satisfaction is what’s most important to us which is why we offer a no-risk guarantee with our Satisfaction Guarantee.

Do we need to provide anything for you?

All we need is access to your BBQ Grill in your back or front yard, water and electricity.  We do appreciate it you can keep your pets in the house while we clean to prevent in accidental escapees of your fur babies.

Do you repair grills?

Accepted Answer

While we offer light repair work if we see something that needs fixing, we are not authorized service technicians for any brands of grills.  For warranty service, the manufacturer or your grill.  We may be able to help with out of warranty repairs.

How long does it take to clean a grill?

Our standard grill cleaning normally takes 1.5 - 3 hours to complete.

How often should I have my grill clenaed?

That often depends on how many times you use it per year.  Our recommendation is at least once per year and if you use your barbecue year round, then you would want it cleaned at least every 6 months.  We always recommend getting it cleaned before/after that big backyard party or any one of the special BBQ cooking holidays – Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day.

What type of cleaners do you use?

Safety is our top priority for both you and our team.  We use the safest products available that will effectively clean your grill, making it healthy for you to grill delicious food.

Question 17

What if I have rust on my stainless steel lid or inside the fire box?

Accepted Answer

Rust on stainless steel? I thought stainless steel didn’t rust? Stainless Steel does rust depending on the manufacture, grade of metal being used and humidity in the area (close to bodies of water). The lesser the grade of stainless steel will be more prone to rusting.  If your lid or fire box has significant rust damage it may require replacement. We won’t see the rust damage until we scrape away the ash and debris. If it is too severe to clean we will let you inspect it before continuing on.  If the rust is on of the outside grill and has not pitted the steeel yet, we can usually remove that type of rust.

Do you carry spare parts?

We do not carry spare parts, as there are many different types of grills, models and brands. We will inspect your grill after cleaning and make recommendations for parts that might need replacing and we will provide a base estimate to you to replace those parts.

How does having Clean My Grill service my grill help protect my investment?

Accepted Answer

Plainly put, todays grills and outdoor kitchens are expensive investments in your home. That being said, they are built to last, as long as they are maintained. After months or years of use, grease drippings and burnt food can build up on areas of the grill that you are unable to see below the grates. This can eventually ruin the components making replacement necessary. If the grates are not routinely maintained, there is a greater likelihood that they will rust and/or corrode.

Will you have replacement parts for my grill with you?

Not unless you have oreded them from us in advance.. There are many different brands of grills and many different sizes of grills. We are unable to carry parts for all the various grills. However, once we access your grill and determine what parts are needed, if any, we can order the parts from our various sources and get them in a short period of time.
